About Our Client

My client a market leading property and housing business based in finchley are looking for a new credit control team leader to join there growing finance team. They have been experiencing organic growth since the turn of the year which has lead to this opportunity becoming available. They support personal development and long term career progression.

Job Description

as the credit control team leader for this market leading business in finchley, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth running of the credit team, duties will include:

  • Daily management of the Credit Control Team in relation to their performance/review/quality of work
  • Processing the Reminders/Final Notices/Final 7-day email using the diary functionality within QUBE based on when the charges become due.
  • Ensure all cases which are held are reviewed and all clients have a diary to review arrears cases each month.
  • Request Land Registry Titles prior to AMF application to ensure lessee details are correct and to write to the alternative address in accordance with procedure.
  • To review the portfolio periodically to ensure a fair distribution of clients across the team, working with a slightly reduced portfolio as a Senior Credit Controller due to the other management and escalation requirements
  • To continually work to improve the procedures/systems with Head of Credit Controls agreement to further automate the arrears chasing process making the department more efficient and effective
  • Any other ad hoc duties

The Successful Applicant

the successful credit control team leader will need to have:

  • Previous Debt Recovery Credit Control experience and/or experience of working within a Property Management environment.
  • Previous staff management experience
  • A desire to collect debt
  • Clear and concise communication, both verbal and written
  • Ability to use of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have experience using QUBE.
