About Our Client

The client is a highly successful business who has offices across the UK. They are high performing and well respected and now seek the assistance of a strong Credit Control Query Clerk due to the establishment of a new team in their Credit Control function. The role will sit in a fast paced and busy team within purpose built and refurbished offices and will offer a fun and friendly working environment for anyone who joins the company

Job Description

The Credit Control Query Clerk role will include a variety of duties including:

  • Support to the Credit Control team with general administration tasks
  • Raising Credit notes and issuing copy invoices and statements to customers
  • Liaising with branches to obtain POD's and assist with query resolution
  • Registering and actioning customer queries
  • Issuing credits where necessary to speed up customer query resolution
  • Customer liaison to ensure invoices are paid once queries are resolved
  • Running reporting on debt & customer raised queries

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate needs to have strong customer service and administration and organisation skills with ideally some exposure within a finance/credit control role.

You will need to have a can do attitude and want to take on challenging work to resolve queries. You will be a confident communicator at all levels and ideally have an interest in Credit Control based work.
