The role of a Credit Control Manager within this company is crucial as they will be responsible for maintaining the company's customer ledger. My client has a lot of face to face meetings with customers so excellent communication skills are definitely a must.
Working as a Credit Control Manager in Cambridge, you will be reporting directly into the Financial Controller. The key duties and responsibilities needed for this will include:
- Managing a team of sufficient credit control clerks.
Manage the outstanding sales balances falling and contact customers to secure payment.
Posting all cash receipts to the AR ledger, reconcile outstanding customer balances and resolve any queries
Raise invoices and credit notes when required.
Monitoring and maintaining the sales ledger.
To work with in-house departments & regional offices to resolve any queries in the accounts.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Current/previous management experience.
- Vast experience in Credit Control.
Strong numeracy skills with attention to detail
Resilient with excellent telephone manner
Team player and excellent communicator at all levels
Enthusiastic and self-motivated
Ability to work to targets and deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure.
Intermediate to Advanced excel skills.
