About Our Client
Our client is a highly regarded Education Institution based in the East Midlands.
The incoming Contracts Manager will sit within the in house legal team and work closely with the Head of Legal and other lawyers within the team with a remit specifically focused around commercial contracts. Our client has a lot of relationships within industry and commerce throughout the UK, EU and internationally and these relationships result in the frequent need for a variety of commercial contracts to be drawn up for the provision of various services. Typical contracts will include but not be limited to research contracts, NDAs, collaboration agreements, service agreements, license agreements etc. These contracts are often bespoke requiring contracts to be drafted and negotiated from scratch where required.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Contracts Manager will have a proven background of drafting commercial contracts. This will likely be from experience gained within another Contracts Manager role however candidates from a Legal practice background would also be considered. It is envisaged that candidates will have legal academics, ideally an LLB, LLM or GDL.
Ideally candidates will be based in or around the East Midlands region and be available to interview in the second week of April.
