About Our Client
Our client is a well known organisation - full details will be disclosed to suitable applicants.
As a Contracts Manager you will be working closely with both the sales and the scientific research teams who provide both good and services to the wider pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector. The role of the Contracts Manager will be to ensure that watertight commercial contracts are in place in accordance with UK law for the provision of these goods and services.
This will involve you drafting and negotiating contracts from scratch to ensure that contracts are bespoke where needed and that all contracts are then correctly executed.
Clients are based both nationally and internationally and client site visits are an important part of this role so although you will be based in Birmingham you be required to travel both nationwide and throughout Europe.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Contracts Manager will come from a legal background and have solid experience of drafting commercial contracts from scratch. It is envisaged that candidates will hold at least a law degree. A post graduate qualification in law such as a masters would be an advantage but is not essential.
