Job Description

As a Contract Manager you will be responsible for;

  • To provide, maintain and manage excellent cleaning services to a variety of establishments whilst working to contractually agreed requirements and financial budgets
  • Maintain budgetary control on materials, equipment and wages
  • Ensure that all business aspects meet legislative compliance and staff adhere to codes of practice and statutory requirements
  • Ensure that audits, contractual documentation and administration duties are carried out to standards set by the Company and ensure Company compliance
  • Management of all aspects of Health & Safety, Environment and Quality Assurance
  • React to day to day requests in an effective, efficient and professional manner
  • To manage the recruitment and development of the Operations team.
  • Work alongside HR to identify training needs and performance management
  • Effectively manage employees to their full potential
  • Implementing HR policies whilst ensuring best practice at all time
  • You will hold regular meetings with representatives from Client's Management Team to discuss the performance and make suggestions for continuous improvements

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous proven experience of working within a Management role and managing and developing a team is essential
  • The ability to communicate professionally at all levels

  • A professional, motivational and supportive work ethic
  • A Flexible and adaptable approach
  • The ability to solve problems and work on own initiative
  • The ability to prioritise and excellent time management and organisational skills
  • A high level of computer literacy
  • Strong written communication

  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Hold a full clean driving licence
  • Basic understanding of Health and Safety regulations
  • Cleaning knowledge. (Desirable)
