About Our Client

A leading property company

Reporting to the Policy & Compliance Team Manager, will be an integral member of the compliance assurance team and be accountable for the operational delivery of a programme of national compliance reviews across a National portfolio.

You will possess strong technical and analytical skills to focus on providing a level of assurance to internal stakeholders in relation to Building Condition; Statutory Compliance; Health & Safety and Service Partner performance.

Job Description

  • Provide expert technical advice and best practice engineering support to the Policy & Compliance Manager.
  • Inspect hard services statutory compliance documentation to ensure that the correct documentation is available and of appropriate quality.
  • Interrogation of maintenance and document management systems in order to evidence compliance activities.
  • Collation of documentation in electronic format for publication to site surveying teams.
  • Population of audit summary reports and remedial works schedules following documentation reviews.
  • Conduct site visits, carry out engineering logbook reviews and validate corrective maintenance work completions.
  • Validate site asset registers to ensure that all statutory assets are accounted for and appropriate documentation is in place.
  • Collate survey findings and produce remedial work schedules.
  • Update survey information and documentation packs upon completion of remedial works.
  • Drive and promote innovation in technical delivery, continually looking for opportunities to improve performance, reduce cost etc.

Any other duties consistent with the level and responsibilities of the post as

  • directed by the Policy & Compliance Team.
  • To take reasonable care for the health and safety of him/herself and others who may be affected by their acts and omissions and to co-operate with his/her employer so far as is necessary to enable them to carry out their statutory duty.

The Successful Applicant

  • Expert level of understanding of building services operation and maintenance and legislative requirements.
  • Audit experience associated with the delivery hard services and certification.
  • Good understanding of building services design theory.
  • Assertive and confident in dealings with maintenance service providers.
  • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Able to prepare formal reports.
  • Results orientated with good organisational skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
    • Understanding of the non-technical aspects of building management e.g. Security, Cleaning Catering etc.
    • Previous experience
    • Experience of technical project management.
    • Good understanding of bespoke engineering information databases e.g. INFOR.
    • Qualified Engineer with membership status or relevant equivalent qualifications and experience.
    • Experience at in an operational contract management environment.

What's on Offer
