Primarily located in Peterborough, currently looking for a Commercial Mortgage Administrator within the Banking sector. Our client is a multi award winning company who pride themselves on high quality service, backed by sector expertise and traditional underwriting so they ensure they meet the needs of their customers.

Job Description

As a Commercial Mortgage Administrator your key responsibilities include:

Loading commercial mortgage cases efficiently and accurately via the portal

Attaching relevant and essential documentation to live cases

Management of the Commercial Mortgage inbox ensuring 24 hour SLA's are met

Ensuring individual set tasks are completed within set SLA's

Liaising with Intermediaries for updates to improve the application progress

Following up intermediaries to ensure documentation is supplied in a timely manner

Interacting with surveyors to gain valuation updates

Updating the Commercial Mortgage Pipeline report on a weekly basis

Compliance with all internal company policies and regulatory requirements i.e. DPA etc

Recording daily data, monthly MI & trending data for the Commercial Mortgage Team

Complete Quality Control checks in line with policy

Covering the Group Services Administrator in post and office visitor greeting duties

Build up foundation knowledge/expertise on Commercial Mortgages

To help with specific projects as and when required

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate

Successful within an administration based role and/or desire to work in the Commercial Mortgage market

Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

High level of communication skills both face to face and over the phone

Ability to understand Acumen/ new computer systems quickly and to a high level

Excellent systems knowledge which includes Excel & word

Ability to develop strong relationships with customers, brokers and other professional partners

An appreciation of adherence to processes and looking to improve them

Ability to analyse and interpret information as required for the tasks set

Able to work as part of a team in an SLA driven environment, helping to achieving monthly targets, expectations
