Job Description

As a Cleaning Operations Manager you will be responsible for;

  • Managing the delivery of the cleaning services across a number of contracts to provide consistently high levels of performance that meet contractual obligations to our Partner.
  • Liaising with contract site managers/supervisors daily to ensure the operational delivery is being maintained and dealing with issues as they arise.
  • Attend SLA's when requested.
  • Be responsible for embedding a risk aware culture at site level.
  • Proactively seek contract margin improvements and cost savings.
  • Monitor and review annual spending of uniforms to ensure minimum wastage.
  • Visit contracts as per required frequency.
  • Ensure assignment instructions are in line with cleaning site tasks.
  • Carry out spot checks on compliance audits.
  • Informing your team of any new developments within the company
  • You will be expected to interview and select staff with support from HR when required.
  • Ensuring your Line Manager is kept updated immediately if there are any major issues within your portfolio.
  • Manage cover of holiday and sickness when required.
  • Carry out investigations, disciplinary, grievance & welfare meetings as and when required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Must have experience within a similar role within cleaning and operations
  • Client facing experience is essential
  • Management experience is essential
  • Must have experience in dealing with a large portfolio of clients
