Job Description

The successful Catering Manager will be responsible for:

  • Preparation and Presentation of Food - Menu costing and Planning, ordering stock, stock take, preparation and presentation.
  • Unit Operations - Policies and Procedures
  • Financial Administration - In Invoices, reporting and budgets
  • Client/Customer Relations - Meeting clients
  • Personnel - Development, training and recruitment
  • Personnel Planning and Development for clients
  • Training - Staff development and improvement
  • Reports and Projects for unit operation
  • Health, Safety & Environmental responsibilities

The Successful Applicant

Catering Manager Profile:

  • Food safety understanding
  • Good Financial Skills and understanding of gross profit and margin management
  • Operational experience of contract management at previous management level
  • Organisation skills
  • Good time management
  • Approachable
  • Team player
  • Creative
  • Commitment
