Job Description

Business Analyst - Manufacturing Main duties/responsibilities

  • Business partner with senior stakeholders
  • Highly involved in commercial decision making within the manufacturing business
  • Be the key interface between manufacturing and IT
  • Analyse business processes to ensure continuous improvement is up kept
  • Ensuring that service levels to the business are clearly defined and subsequently achieved
  • Manage the life cycle of manufacturing systems
  • Project Manage assigned IT Projects through development, maintenance and retirement stages
  • Manage SAP Change requests
  • Lead and encourage new business system initiatives and improvements to existing ERP systems
  • Conduct periodic service reviews of key business system vendors to ensure SLAs are met, in conjunction with Procurement, System Owners and System Administrators
  • Develop, maintain and monitor contracts with 3rd party suppliers
  • Manage the support services provided by our solutions providers

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications and education required;

  • Degree or equivalent qualified (no specific subject required)
  • Certification in a recognised Project Management Methodology (i.e. PRINCE2, PMI) desirable

Experience required:

  • Experience of IT and business system lifecycle management preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or other regulated environment
  • Broad range of knowledge in systems/applications relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Project management experience
  • Experience of SAP preferably in a pharmaceuticals environment
  • Experience of facilitation of Project Teams

  • Highly professional with a strong customer and stakeholder management focus
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills in dealing with people at all levels
  • Ability to establish and maintain good customer/business partner relationships
  • Ability to identify, understand and convert business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proactive attitude with drive to deliver high quality business systems support service
  • Logical and strategic thinker with good problem solving and decision making ability
  • Good planning, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing business environment managing ambiguity
