About Our Client

My client is a highly successful manufacturing business based in South Lanarkshire. The business is experienced strong growth at present, and are in the process of upgrading their system, and developing new Management Accounting systems and processes. They operate using the Sage Accounts system.

Job Description

Key responsibilities are as follows;

Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments

Processing credit card invoices and payments

Processing any petty cash transactions

Completing VAT returns

Daily reconcile of company bank and credit card statements

Liaising with suppliers and customers regarding any book-keeping issues or queries

Assess the merits of introduction of Purchase Order Processing system

Dealing with financial paperwork and filing

Credit control

Ensure all aspects of payroll administration is undertaken timeously and accurately

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile;

Extensive previous working knowledge in a similar role

Strong understanding of the bookkeeping and payroll administration side

Strong understanding utilising Sage Accounts

Proven high attention to detail

Excellent organisational skills

Excellent communication & team-building skills

What's on Offer

My client is willing to offer a salary ranging from £20,000 - £25,000 (DOE), in addition to a competitive benefits package. My client is also prepared to consider flexible working.
