Job Description

This Assistant Management Accountant opportunity will include the following main accountability;

*Supporting the Sales & Marketing Team in the production of annual sales budget

*Month end accounting for allocated regions and brands

*Quarterly re-forecasts of sales and overheads based on latest market trends

*Presentation of monthly performance versus target to Senior Management team

*Production of monthly P&L flash reports for internal review

*Production of monthly Management Reports to the UK management team

*Supporting local management in controlling and managing the costs within budget.

*Reviewing expenditure within cost centres by detailed reviews with departmental managers.

*Development of functional KPIs with departmental managers.

*Support the business in reviewing opportunities for new and renewed contracts.

*Maintenance of the UK Group's reporting systems on SAP, including cost centres, profit centres and hierarchies.

*Supporting procurement and buyers for cost analysis and forecasting

The Successful Applicant

To be successful for this Assistant Management Accountant role you will be required to match the following criteria;

*Individual should starting CIMA/ACCA accountancy qualifications - active studies preferred

*Some experience in sales analysis and month end accounts

*Knowledge of the Microsoft office suite of software applications and familiarisation with mainframe accounting systems in particular SAP.

*Good commercial skills and awareness.

*Ability to work on own initiative and develop proactive solutions to business problems.

*Strong Communication Skills.
