About Our Client

My client is a dynamic, fast growing services company based in south east London. They provide UK wide services in a variety of locations.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Assistance to the FD and preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Monthly working papers and balance sheet analysis
  • Maintenance of general ledger
  • Journal posting
  • Intercompany reconciliation
  • Month end closure on Sage 200
  • Credit control
  • Sales ledger reconciliation
  • Maintenance of stock ledger and monthly stock reconciliations
  • Maintenance of fixed asset register
  • Full purchase Ledger management
  • Supplier reconciliations
  • Corporate bank account reconciliations
  • Monthly credit card and petty cash analysis and posting
  • Weekly Sales analysis reporting
  • Assisting monthly and attending bi annual stock takes
  • Assisting with payroll
  • Liaison with bank
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Ad hoc duties

The Successful Applicant


Essential - Immediately Available Candidates Only


Finance/Business related degree, or AAT, or

ACCA / CIMA Student


Financial acumen

Is financially aware and understands the financial dynamics of the business. Is comfortable analysing, interpreting and reporting on financial data

Quality and operational excellence

Demonstrates commitment to quality and service excellence. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of business dynamics and is comfortable working within these.

Effective communications

Delivers clear, concise, and accurate and timely information into the standard and format required. Should have a good understanding of written and spoken English..

What's on Offer

In return my client will offer a temporary to permanent placement with an immediate start.

The successful candidate must be immediately available.

The salary offered is £28-35k per annum, starting on £14-18 per hour.
