Job Description

As an Area Manager you will be responsible for;

  • Ensure that all applicable and agreed specifications are understood, adhered to and are relevant to the service provided through regular audits with the Area Service Managers (4)
  • Maintain close personal relationships with key customer contacts
  • Ensure that Contractual KPIs are communicated across team and monitored, also ensure operationally that these KPIs are exceeded on a monthly basis
  • Check Weekly Payroll Sheets and analyse reports
  • Quote for additional works through the additional sales process and deal with emergency calls
  • Monitor weekly expenditure against prescribed budgets to ensure no overspends
  • Prepare yearly Budget for Operational Area
  • Monitor Weekly hours delivery per store to highlight problems, ensure action is taken
  • Ensure operational area exceeds contract hours delivery KPI
  • Ensure that Cleaning standard audits are completed on a monthly basis and that there are no missing audits and fill in the Failed Audit Rationale
  • Monitor MAPS/audit list, highlighting problem stores and ensure corrective action is taken to improve performance
  • Raise Purchase Orders following correct procedure/ deal with any invoice queries
  • Hold Monthly Meetings to look at overall performance and discuss Health and Safety
  • Regularly monitor and analyse individual Area Service Manager performance and take corrective action where necessary
  • Ensure that all staff disciplinary/grievance matters are processed following the company procedures and that HR are kept informed of any issues and sought for any clarification on situations
  • To be the responsible person to ensure compliance with statutory and mandatory requirements with respect to such matters as Health & Safety Quality Systems and the environment with operational Area
  • To ensure that 6 QSHE Monthly Audits are done every month and ensure that the operational area is Health and Safety compliant with appropriate paperwork
  • Undertake any others duties/projects etc, as requested by the Regional Account Manager or by the Client
  • Be aware of the business continuity plan for the part of the business you work in
