About Our Client

Working in a Multinational Shared Service Centre, UK head office function for a global leading FM CG household name.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Follow procedures for accurate and timely credit collection
  • Develop, maintain and improve relationships with internal and external customers
  • Follow established Delegation of Authority (DoA) matrix and guidelines
  • Analysis, decisions and recommendations of customers credit related matters
  • Minimise the risk of bad and doubtful debts through credit management best practices
  • Manage insolvency resolution in conjunction with SSC and local Country management
  • Provide timely and accurate Credit reporting to relevant audience
  • Ensure customers account reconciliation are completed and accurate
  • Receipt, log, index and delegation of customer documents to relevant department
  • Comply with Sarbanes & Oxley (SOX) requirements for Accounts Receivable processes
  • Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits
  • Perform Ad Hoc Accounts Receivable activities
  • Cover for other AR activities as required
  • Reporting

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong experience as a credit controller
  • Strong experience in credit analysis
  • SAP experience
  • Process improvement orientation
  • Strong ability with Microsoft Office tools and other computer systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ICM Qualification (desirable)
  • Strong Proactivity and Personal Ownership Skills
  • Demonstrate adaptability
  • Previous experience in Finance (desirable)

The equivalent of 5 weeks holiday is given to all Employees.

Hours of work:

4½ day week - core hours:

8.30 - 5.15 Monday - Thursday

8.30 - 1.00 Friday

Flexible Hours Policy is also available whereby the employee can choose their own start and finish times provided they complete 37.5 hours per week.

These hours are changeable per department and hours may change to suit the needs of the business.
