Job Description

AP Manager

Key Purpose - Manage the accounts payable function and intercompany

- Drive through initiatives to improve cashflow, efficiency and reduce business administration

- Ensure accounts payable accounting records are accurate and up to date and the business is compliant with internal financial controls, tax and other regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities - Day to day management of the Accounts Payable team (4 employees) ensuring key processes are followed and queries are dealt with timely and accurately

- Review of weekly payment run and one-off payments & cheques

- Ownership of the Intercompany reporting process (4 times a year)

- Specific Balance sheet reconciliations

- Review monthly old items with the team, provide assistance for resolution and seek to recover any balances owed

-Intercompany Reporting

-Review AP Forensic tools on a daily basis.

Review Key customer accounts (deduction v provision) and assess any risk

- Supplier statement reconciliations
