Job Description

The AP manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the purchase ledger team maintaining high levels of accuracy
  • Holding staff 1-2-1s and conduct appraisals with a view to up-skilling existing team members
  • Design and make recommendations to improve the running of the function
  • Ensure all invoices and journals posted to meet monthly reporting deadlines
  • Expense management on monthly basis
  • Reconcile ledgers & post journals
  • Responsible for all payment runs

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this position you must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Previous experience in a managerial/supervisory level position within Accounts Payable
  • Significant experience in process improvement and making efficiencies
  • Strong Excel and data reporting skills
