About Our Client

Our retail company have gone through a period of rapid expansion. They are now looking for an accounts receivable clerk to join their head office on an immediate basis.

The role is to start in August 2016, and you need to be immediately available. You will be joining a team of 6, and reporting into the accounting manager.

Job Description

Accounts Receivable:

Working in a team of 6

Hours: 9am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday

Start: Aug 2016

  • Processing high volume, and high value invoices on a daily basis
  • Sending out invoices to clients and customers (these are large, well known retail department stores)
  • Cash allocation
  • Updating the debtor report - 30, 60 and 90 days
  • Chasing unpaid invoices via telephone and email
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Sales Ledger reconciliation
  • Maintaining key internal and external relationships
  • Attending weekly meetings with debtor update list

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant with have the following skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent team player
  • Committed to a temporary role
  • Recent and relevant accounts receivable experience
  • Educated to degree level/Alevel/ relevant qualifications ie ACCA, CIMA or AAT
  • Able to work in Victoria, South West London
