About Our Client

My client is a large scale manufacturing company looking to bring an Accounts Payable Manager to support the department

Job Description

  • Managing the accounts payable department
  • Minimising queries by ensuring processes are followed.
  • Ensure correct treatment of VAT
  • Ensuring staff are correctly reconciling supplier statements and/or assisting with any discrepancies
  • Managing the relationship with the outsourced provider
  • Developing the team's skills and competencies
  • Ensure weekly payment runs are completed
  • Carrying out all Month End Reports and Reconciliation

The Successful Applicant

  • Understanding of the P2P process
  • Energetic and self-motivated
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use a range of influencing techniques
  • Proven experience of change management
  • Demonstrated success in building teams
  • SAP knowledge would be beneficial, but training can be provided
  • Diligence & Accuracy. Demonstrate care and attention to detail, check own work, create sound audit trails & keep clear records
