The organisation specialise in maintenance, servicing, repairing and installation of various plumbing and heating apparatus. There are a varied number of contracts with construction organisations, local and national Councils and Housing Associations across London, the south east and the UK.

Job Description

Requirements of the Job:

Take sole ownership and manage all aspects of the Supplier Accounts

To manage and resolve a very high volume of Invoices not matching to Purchase Orders (300+ a month) under continual time pressure.

Allocation of weekly staff salaries to divisions and contracts

To take on and manage any other tasks as directed by the Accountant

The Successful Applicant

Requirement of the Person:


Must have at least 2 years experience in a similar role

Must have demonstrable experiences of delivering on time, in time pressured and deadline driven environments

Must be a proactive individual who can take a lead and shape their role rather than let others dictate as the business is actively seeking to grow

Strong interpersonal skill - must have the ability to work with/manage/persuade others to resolve issues by agreed times

Good Excel skills - Must be comfortable with Pivot Tables/VLookups/Filters and Sub-totals as well as exporting accounting information into excel and manipulating as required

Experience of Microsoft Dynamics Navision desirable but not essential

Characteristics of the person:


This is a pivotal role which requires a person who has a can do attitude, can work with others to get the job done, and not get bogged down by queries.

Must be a confident and intelligent individual.

The person must be a highly self-motivated, self starter, who can work independently and is there to assist the accountant - not the other way around.

The person must be personable, a team player and enjoy working in a very busy but friendly, small team, office environment.

What's on Offer

In return my client will offer a temporary to permanent assignment with a start just after the Bank Holiday.

The successful candidate will have to be able to get to CHARLTON in south east London with ease. The ideal candidate will be local and drive. My client can provide car parking.

You will have a proven track record as an Accounts Payable Co-Ordinator and accept a role on a temporary to permanent basis.

You will be immediately available and ready to start a new assignment.
