About Our Client

This business is an established, highly regarded and well known business services organisation based in North West Leeds. This company has been established for over 20 years and has an excellent reputation in it's field.

They are now looking to recruit an Accounts Manager to work alongside their Financial Controller, to assist in the month end accounting and oversee a small team of 2 in finance.

Job Description

The role of Accounts Manager will include:

  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
  • EC Sales Lists
  • Preparation of consolidated accounts at year end
  • Preparation of annual financial accounts with appropriate year-end adjustments for presentation to auditors
  • Preparation of annual report
  • Liaise with auditors
  • Liaise with payroll bureau regarding P11D calculations and salary calculations
  • Day to day management of a team of 2 in finance

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience of management accounts preparation - Essential
  • Be AAT Qualified - Desirable
  • Have previous knowledge of Sage - Essential
  • Have previous experience of managing or overseeing a team - Essential
