My client is a specialist multi-channel retail agency and consultancy. With over 100 employees and 10 years experience in the business.

Job Description

  • Maintenance of the sales and purchase ledgers
  • Processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Reconciling statements and making payments to suppliers
  • Credit control duties
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with VAT and payroll administration
  • Assisting with monthly and annual reports to directors
  • Any ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Maintain all finance and personnel files
  • Ensure other administrative duties are fulfilled as advised, including filing and scanning
  • Assist the legal function with contractual administration duties

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 1 year recent experience as Accounts Assistant or equivalent in a small to
  • medium size organisation
  • Thorough understanding of general finance processes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to understand and respond to both internal
  • and external queries
  • Highly organised with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Forward thinking with an interest in process improvement
  • Able to manage workloads to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Possess strong Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook skills
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks & Advantage and IRIS HR Manager preferable
