About Our Client

This long standing construction company have built up a reputation based on the personalised high quality services they provide to their clients. A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join the finance function of the company based in Huddersfield.

Job Description

The successful Accounts Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to: inputting purchase invoices, reconciling invoices to supplier statements and producing monthly payment lists, producing sales invoices, process monthly payroll for all employees, reconciling debtors and creditors, dealing with various queries, chasing debtors via email, telephone and letters, producing quarterly VAT returns, assist with general preparation for the Management Accounts and other as hoc duties as required.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within an accounts position - Essential
  • Payroll experience - Desirable
  • Strong communication skills - Essential
  • Strong MS Excel skills - Desirable
