Job Description

Reporting into the Finance Manager the accounts assistant will have the following responsibilities:

  • Allocation and reconciliation of payments received (BACS, Credit Card, Paypal)
  • Supporting with month end procedures
  • Raising invoices
  • Uploading invoices on to Sage Line 50
  • Posting bank statements onto Sage Line 50
  • Processing expenses - credit cards and staff expenses
  • Update company budgets and calculate monthly variances
  • Ensuring client accounts are up to date
  • Emailing invoices to clients
  • Credit Control - cashing payment via telephone, letter and email
  • Debtor reconciliation

The Successful Applicant

The successful accounts assistant MUST have:

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience working within an accounts assistant role
  • Excellent Microsoft excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
