About Our Client
This well established multi-award winning leisure business have positioned themselves at the forefront of their market through the quality and level of services they offer. Starting out in 2000 with only 2 leisure facilities, as a result of their fantastic forward thinking business model they now have in excess of 25 leisure facilities that span the country. They are now continuing to grow and as a result have created a new team within the company. This expansive company are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the finance function of their team based in South Leeds.
The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to: raise rental requests; assist in the production and collection of Club annual fees; posting of all revenue transactions; reconciliation of sales ledger; daily/weekly banking of income; collection of maintenance fees; assistance with debt collection process; ensure cash collection prior to occupation; complete reconciliations of all bank accounts; post all direct banking transactions to purchase/sales ledger; monthly reconciliation of control accounts and bank accounts; accounting for sales of lodges and resale of timeshares; accounting for all costs; reconciliation of sales accounts; communication with committees; preparation of documentation to Owners and Committees; resale of Lodge weeks on behalf of owners; query resolution; log of all correspondence; administration of sale of available Lodge weeks.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will:
- Have solid experience within a finance position - Essential
- Have administration experience - Essential
- Have excellent communication skills - Essential
- Have good knowledge of MS Excel - Desirable
