About Our Client

The client is a large conference company based in South West London, who are looking for someone who wants to progress their career in Accountancy with them.

Job Description

As the Accounts Assistant you will:

  • Maintain the Accounts payable and expense ledger
  • Input the Expense claims, UK and foreign supplier invoices
  • Manage the company supplier payment runs
  • Support the credit control manager( in particular Delegate Debtors)
  • Month end reporting tasks as defined by the month end timetable
  • Reconcile weekly supplier accounts
  • Perform Supplier reconciliations
  • Ad hoc duties as required

The Successful Applicant

You will have the following skill set:


  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload
  • Able communicate clearly (verbal and Written)
  • Ability to work within a team of 6
  • Ability to work across the business
  • Want to develop


  • Conference industry background
  • Previously used Excel
  • Logical approach to problem solving
  • European VAT understanding
