Job Description

The Accounts Assistant role involves;

  • Raise purchase orders in accordance with suppliers' statements of work and work with Business Process Director to obtain approval.

  • Interaction with project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of timesheet data of external consultants.

  • Verify supplier accounts by reconciling invoices with timesheet data and resolve queries as they may arise.

  • Regularly track supplier spend against purchase orders and statements of work.

  • Ensure all relevant documentation is correctly filed and provide other administrative support where required.

  • Look for opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies.

  • Provide support to Programme Business Process Director in other ad hoc tasks.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the Accounts Assistant role will:

  • Have at least 1-2 years experience in a Finance role, ideally from a large business.
  • ideally be studying AAT / CIMA / ACCA (although not essential)
  • have a flexible attitude and able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • be looking to progress their Finance career to the next level

What's on Offer

The Accounts Assistant role can pay between £25-30,000 + excellent benefits.
