Our client is a well known business based just North of Horsham looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their Accountancy team

Job Description

Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis to join their Accountancy team in Horsham

    • Invoice processing
    • Cheque payments
    • Cheque requisitions
    • Bank reconciliation
    • Account queries
    • Ensuring requests from homes are checked and complete
    • Issuing cheques and cash to homes as require
    • Ensuring all monies are allocated
    • Ensuring financial requisitions are authorised by the Area Managers and cheques and requisitions are raised accordingly
    • Distribution of invoices to the homes
    • Monthly reconciliations
    • Daily staff cost reporting and analysis
    • General Administration
    • Filing
    • Letter writing
    • Assisting in year end audit preparation
    • Ad hoc finance duties as required
    • Telephone and email queries

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have experience in AP and ideally drive due to the remote location of the role
