About Our Client

Our client is a Normanton based manufacturing brand with exciting prospects working with some of the country's largest companies. They are looking to an Accounts Assistant to their Accountancy department to help progress the business.

Job Description

As an Account Assistant, you will be responsible for: Handling supplier invoices on a daily basis, matching to purchase orders and delivery notes, distribution of supplier invoices for authorisation to various departments, reconciliation of supplier statements, assist in the preparation of balance sheets, bank reconciliations, HR functions including payroll, credit control duties and other ad hoc tasks as and when required.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Accounts Assistant will:

  • Have previous experience within an Accounts department (Essential)
  • Be AAT qualified or an AAT studier (Essential)
  • Be excellent interpersonally for dealing with customers and internal staff (Essential)
  • Have fantastic organisational skills, initiative and awareness of tasks (Essential)
