Job Description

This role is required to assist the Head of Finance in ensuring their are best practices within their accounts administration. The main duties for this position are:

  • Purchase ledger management:
    • Timely input of all invoices received
    • Ensuring all payments are approved at the appropriate level
    • Liaising with management accountants to ensure payments are made in line with cash flow requirements
  • Managing buyer and vendor payments
    • Running buyer and vendor payments
    • Chasing invoices
    • Ensuring vendors are paid on time
    • Ensuring appropriate deductions are made to payments
    • Liaising with the management accountant to ensure client accounts are accurately maintained
  • Managing receivables
    • Ensuring debtors are chased in the UK and US on a timely basis
    • Assisting the management accountant with cash flow forecasting

The Successful Applicant

What we are looking for:

  • Experienced knowledge in both payables and receivables
  • Proven track record in improving controls and procedures
  • Needs to be self-motivated, confident and able to deal with a multitude of individuals and companies
  • Good communicator and team player in a small team
  • Experience of Navision preferred, but not essential
