Job Description

  • Responsible for ensuring all transactions relating to OCP's are accurately and correctly posted in CODA.
  • Responsible for producing timely and accurate reconciliations of all accounts in their control at each period end.
  • Responsible to review all OCP P&L's to ensure that both operational and legal reporting is completed accurately and on time. Ensuring tax compliance and group accounting rules are adhered to in all.
  • Responsible to work with OCP units to analyse and understand that unit's results and then work with the relevant BNOM answering any queries they may have.
  • Responsible for working with key stakeholders to set up the process for new OCP's to ensure accurate flow of financial data. This will require solid understanding of the systems flow relating to revenue and expenses.
  • Responsible for the OCP financial process, proactively seeking out new ways of working, to challenge and improve the process.
  • Apply business and accounting knowledge to make sense of the transactions and challenge when necessary.
  • Responsible for ensuring VAT is correctly calculated and posted in for each transaction.
  • Support Ad hoc finance projects.
  • Support tax analysis as and when required.
  • Actively take part in finance meetings.

The Successful Applicant

  • Applied knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), internal controls, financial reporting and tax laws and regulations
  • Be able to prepare, analyse and report complex accounting data
  • Confident in automated accounting systems
  • Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables
  • Proficient in MS Office skills
