About Our Client

The client is a highly successful privately owned business who is based in Banbury and with operations across the UK. They are growing rapidly and are looking for someone who can join their team to join them during this phase of dramatic growth.

Job Description

The Accountant's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing the purchase ledger and the sales ledger for subsidiary companies.
  • Entering all invoices/credit notes on Sage Line 50.
  • Review overdue accounts on a monthly basis and chase overdue payments via email and telephone.
  • Reconcile petty cash, credit card statements and expenses.
  • Prepare annual budgets reporting variances and creating forecasts when required.
  • Complete payroll for three separate companies on a monthly basis.
  • Complete month end reporting for company directors, including prepayments and accruals.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Accountant will have a strong background in accounting within an SME, ideally with payroll experience and have worked in a similar role.

The individual must be proactive in their approach, with a self motivated mentality. They must be highly organised and professional when dealing with people internally and externally within this role.

The company is growing dramatically and hence the individual will have need to have the potential to take on more responsibilities in the near future, and have a thirst for more!

What's on Offer

The salary on offer is circa £25,000 with more on offer for the right individual.
