About Our Client

Our client a Large International Business based in Woking, Surrey are recruiting for an Accountant with SAP experience for their Global International Headquarters.

Job Description

As an Accountant based from the Woking, Surrey Global International Headquarters, you will be responsible for:

  • Support preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Ensure that the Head Office general ledgers are properly maintained, reconciled and controlled including:
  • Ensure that invoices are processed and paid in accordance with procedures and authority limits.
  • Ensure that General ledger balances are properly reconciled and all differences are investigated and resolved promptly.
  • Manage, motivate and develop a team of two.
  • Interface the different company's entities payroll to the general ledger and work with HR to resolve any payroll issues and to ensure that staff are paid on time.
  • Provide assistance as required for any accounting systems development projects.
  • Oversee administration of purchasing cards and ensure all payments using these cards are made in accordance with procedures.
  • Support preparation of the annual financial accounts and lead schedules
  • Year-end analysis for corporation tax computation.
  • Analysis of payroll items for Year End
  • Acting as a focal point for the internal and external auditors and dealing with any queries.
  • Collating information required for disclosure in the worldwide financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience using the SAP system is essential
  • Comprehensive Finance experience covering the above responsibilities as closely as possible
  • Will consider Part Qualified candidates or candidates Qualified by Experience
  • Experience managing people is desirable but not essential
  • The ability to co-ordinate, prioritise and plan work efficiently in order to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills and ability to communicate with employees with different levels of financial understanding
